Sushant Sinha (born Sushant Bahadur; August 2, 1984) is a prominent Indian journalist and media personality, celebrated for his impactful career in television journalism and his strong presence on digital media platforms. Renowned for his commitment to ethical journalism and his focus on public concerns, he has garnered numerous accolades throughout his career. As of June 2024, his YouTube channel has attracted 1.4 million subscribers.[1][2]
Early life and education
Born in Patna, Bihar, Sushant Sinha completed his schooling at St. Xavier's High School. He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), which provided a solid foundation for his future career in journalism.[3]
Career
Sushant Sinha's media career began in the early 2000s in Patna, where he started his journey in journalism. He gained recognition as the host of the show "Hum Apke Sath," which became a significant platform for addressing and resolving societal issues.
Sushant's career trajectory continued to rise as he joined Live India, followed by a tenure at News24. After his time at News24, he spent five years contributing to NDTV before moving on to India News and later India TV. Embracing the digital landscape, Sushant launched his own YouTube channel, which has since garnered nearly 1.4 million subscribers.[4]
Currently, Sushant serves as the Consulting Editor for Times Now NavBharat, the Times Group's first Hindi news channel. Alongside this role, he continues to host the highly popular 9 pm show, "News Ki Pathshala."[5]
