Rishabh Anupam Sahay
Rishabh Anupam Sahay[1] (born April 1988) is an Indian film director, writer, independent producer, lyricist, self-taught musician and award-winning fashion and lifestyle photographer. With over 15 years of experience, the polymath is currently based in Mumbai, India.[2]

Early Life and Education
Born in Patna in 1988 to an engineer-poet father and an educationist mother, Rishabh was surrounded by artistic and academic influences growing up, that shaped his perspective and fuelled his passion for creativity. He holds a Bachelors in Design from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi. Here he started his career as a photographer, and visual storyteller. His signature style is cinematic. In 2014, Rishabh pursued the craft of film-making in New York Film Academy, New York. He created and directed ad campaigns for several national & international brands. His quest for learning continued with a one year Management Program at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.[3]

Career
Rishabh has made significant contributions in various creative fields. His notable works include:
- Salt City (2022) – A fiction web series produced by Sameer Nair and Applause Entertainment, released on Sony Liv in June 2022. Rishabh served as the writer, director, and co-producer. Rishabh is also the lyricist of the song Gumnaam in the series.[4]
- Raven (2022) – A fashion film for designer Nidhi Yasha, which was an Official Selection at the London Fashion Film Festival 2022.
Across the years, Rishabh has directed still & film campaigns for several prominent fashion & lifestyle brands such as Louis Philippe, Raymond, Taj Hotels, Adidas, Tarun Tahiliani, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Nidhi Yasha, Nadir Positano Italy and more. He directed his first television commercial for KOOVS London in 2016.[5]

- Autumn Eulogy won 'Silver in Advertising/Fashion' at the Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3) in 2024.
- Raven was announced as an Official Selection at the prestigious London Fashion Film Festival in 2022.
- Rishabh’s hindi poetry was featured in Harkaara Magazine, 2021 Edition.
- Honored at the ‘Design Inspirations’ event by GJEPC in February 2020.
- East of the Sun won 'Gold in Advertising/Fashion' and '2nd Place in Advertising' at the Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3) in 2018.
- ‘VOLER’ received a curative request from Museum of the Oriental Arts, Turin for their exhibition ‘NothingIsReal’ in 2016.
- ‘INDUSTRIAL DETONATION’ was selected as one of VOGUE’s Top 10 Fashion Films for Lakme Fashion Week 2015 and was screened in PVR Phoenix, Mumbai, India.
- Three honorable mentions in Prix de La Photographie, Paris (PX3), 2016.
- Photo series featured in Vogue Italia in 2013.
