B.D. Singh (Brahmadeen R. Singh), born on June 29, 1970, is a prominent Indian politician with roots in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Serving as the National Spokesperson for the Shiv Sena party, Singh began his political journey in 1992. He was a close associate of the late Shri Pramod Mahajan.[1][2]

Early Life

Born into a Hindu family in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, B.D. Singh (Brahmadeen R. Singh) is the son of Ram Govind Singh and the late Mrs. Sugiya R. Singh. His upbringing was deeply rooted in Indian culture and tradition. Singh pursued his education in engineering, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Committed to public service, he has held numerous roles in both politics and society, all aimed at fostering positive change in the community.

Political Career

Singh was introduced to politics by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Late Shri. Pramod Mahajan in early nineties. He was a spokesperson for Pramod Mahajan in his initial political career. In the same year, he with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) took part in the Ram Mandir Ayodhya movement. In subsequent years, up to 2000, he organized programs for Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra. In 2017, he has served as the Mumbai Vice President in sahayogi party of BJP RPI (Republican Party of India).

Singh represented national commission for Backward classes during 2021-24 and on 13th March, 2024, he was appointed as the national spokesperson of the Shiv Sena party and Co-communication Chief (Uttar Pradesh Region) by Maharashtra Chief Minister, Shri. Eknath Shinde. This appointment demonstrates his ongoing commitment to his political and public duties.

Social Activism

From 2000, Singh hosted several programs against dowry system all over Maharashtra. Singh has been a social activist, he was appointed as the Chairman of Saint Ram Govind Trust from 2010-2017 and has been actively associated with institutions and organizations working towards protection of the rights of women and Backward classes. He encourages others to collaborate with him to create a more promising and inclusive future for everybody by modeling leadership and advocating for social justice.

Personal Life

Singh is married to Amravati B. Singh and the couple have two daughter and a son named Pooja, Poonam, and Vishal B. Singh.
