Dr. Punit Kumar Dwivedi[1] was born on January 10, 1985, in Kusumha Dubauli, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the son of Smt. Kamana Dwivedi and Shri Banka Dubey. He completed his Early Basic Education at Madhopur (Kushinagar), Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Dwivedi passed his SSC (10th) in 2000 from KMBHS, Narayanguda, Hyderabad, and completed his Intermediate (12th) in 2002 from HMV College, Nallakunta, Hyderabad. Currently, Dr. Punit Kumar Dwivedi is Professor & Group Director in Oxford International College, Indore ; Indore International College, Indore; and Cambridge International College, Indore. Dr. Dwivedi is State Govt. Nominee Member, Avantika University Ujjain under Higher Education Dept. M.P Govt.[2][3][4]

Dr. Dwivedi pursued his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from HMV College, Osmania University, Hyderabad, graduating in 2005. He later earned a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree in 2007 from the University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He further advanced his education by completing an MBA in 2009 from DDE-Annamalai University and earned a PhD in Commerce in 2011 from the University of Lucknow. Additionally, he completed an 8-month leadership course in Corporate and Public Leadership in a VUCA World (CPLVW) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore in 2023. Dr. Dwivedi has done his PhD under Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Sharma (Former Dy. Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, Presently Member Rajya Sabha)[5]

Academic and Professional Career

Dr. Dwivedi is a distinguished academician, He served as a Professor and Group Director at the Modern Group of Institutions in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is also known for his contributions as a startup and incubation expert, having served as the CEO of the Atal Incubation Centre - Prestige Inspire Foundation, supported by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India. Dr. Dwivedi has processed and published 20+ Indian Patents and International Patents & Copyrights.[6][7]

As an educator with over 17 years of experience, Dr. Dwivedi has made significant contributions in the fields of finance and entrepreneurship across various government and private institutions in India. He has also been actively involved in the development of the startup ecosystem in Central India, mentoring young entrepreneurs and shaping their ventures.[8]

Contributions and Initiatives

Dr. Dwivedi is recognized as an official Brand Ambassador for the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) initiative in Indore, the cleanest city in India. He has organized over 200 public meetings to promote behavioral cleanliness practices and has played a key role in supporting the Swachh Indore initiative by the Indore Municipal Corporation.[9]

In the realm of entrepreneurship, Dr. Dwivedi has been instrumental in nurturing startups and fostering innovation. He serves as a Mentor of Change for Atal Tinkering Labs under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, and is the President of the Institute Innovation Council, an initiative by the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.[10]

Dr. Dwivedi is a prolific author, having written 21 books and numerous publications in international journals on topics such as Supply Chain Management, Business Finance, Research Methodology, and Intellectual Property Rights. His innovative approach to teaching and research has earned him recognition as a thought leader in academia. He has also created many world records registered in Guinness World Record, Witld Book of Records, Golden Book of Records to name a few.[11]
