Midhunraj was born on July 2, 1996, in Tirur, Kerala, India. He grew up in a family dedicated to public service—his father, Rajan Ottakandan, was a teacher in the government sector, and his mother, Omana P., retired as Deputy Head Mistress in the government sector.
