He is the co-founder of QLegal, one of India's leading law firms, headquartered in Noida, providing state-of-the-art legal advice and services to government houses, businesses, and leading figures in politics, business, and films. He was listed on Forbes in 2018 for his work in the legal and business sectors.[2]

Early Life and Education

Dr. Shibabrata Bhaumik was born on November 4, 1983, in Kolkata, India, to a middle-class Bengali family. His father, Shri. Bibhuti Bhusan Das Bhaumik, is a civil engineer, and his mother, Smt. Subhra Das Bhaumik, is a housewife. He has a younger sister, Ms. Sumedha Bhaumik, who is married to Mr. Karthik Mehta.[3]

Shibabrata completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biotechnology from Meerut University. He further pursued a Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) from Meerut University and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ICFAI University. He has been awarded an "Honorary Doctorate" from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, for developing a legal platform that integrates legal aid and awareness programs.[4][5]

Dr. Shibabrata Bhaumik co-founded QLegal, a law firm headquartered in Noida, with the primary focus on providing exceptional legal advice to individuals, businesses, government agencies, respected political leaders, film celebrities, and many others. His firm is known for taking pro bono legal cases when clients are unable to pay the litigation fees, reflecting his commitment to social justice and public service.[6]

He has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to the legal field, being awarded the title of "Best Legal Consultant for 2024" for his compassionate and selfless work, especially for women who are victims of rape or suffering under domestic violence, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and children who are juvenile sex offenders.
