Shailendra Kumar (born 1958) is an Indian social activist and the Senior Patron of the Lok Kalyan Buddha Foundation. Shailendra Kumar was born in 1958 in Patna, Bihar, to Shri Bhagwan Singh and Devpati Devi. He received his early education in Patna and graduated from Patna Science College. Later, he pursued an LLB degree from Patna University. From a young age, Shailendra Kumar was deeply concerned about societal issues, particularly the suffering of marginalized communities, which led him to a lifelong commitment to social welfare.

Shailendra Kumar has been involved in social welfare activities for nearly 30 years through the Lok Kalyan Buddha Foundation, which operates from Bihar to Delhi.
